Jean-François Dumoulin - NASCAR Pinty's Series

The #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau/ Groupe Bellemare / MIA team is ready forthe three oval-track events in Western Canada, on July 26 (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) and July 29 (Edmonton, Alberta). In preparation, NASCAR Pinty's offifials decided to raise the level of intensity on-track and the quality of the show for spectators. Two separate 100-lap races will be run on the same day, on the short oval, only 2.5 hours apart. The starting order for the second race will be determined by lap times in the first race.

Given the special nature of all-out sprint races, Jean-François Dumoulin and his technical team are focusing on qualifying the #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare / MIA car at the front of the grid for the first race.

Jean-Francois Dumoulin explained the need for this special attention ;" Starting at the front of the fast pack means that you do not have to "carve" your way through the middle or rear pack and expose yourself to race-ruining incidents, This also means that there is less risk of damage to the bodywork or suspension, and that you can somewhat manage your tires and brakes. Another benefit is that you end up with some extra performance near the most important part of the race: the last laps."

Jean-Francois Dumoulin added that "We can't predict what will happen on the track. We will, however do everything in our power to optimize our set-up and then race intelligently.

"Our race at Delaware Speedway earlier this season allowed us to take a jump on our short oval settings, and we hope to take advantage of this throughout the Western visit" " added the driver of the #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare / MIA car.

Autograph session at Delta Bessborough, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - July 24, 2017

Jean-François and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin will participate in an autograph session organized by his partner, the Delta Bessborough, on July 24 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare /MIA and the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare hauler and cars will also be on-site. Become our ambassadors and engage with us in the race against cancer!

Throughout the whole NASCAR Pinty's season, the Dumoulin brothers are inviting everyone at every race to come sign their cars for the cause. We hope to renew the success from last year in Western Canada, where racing fans came in great numbers to sign our cars.

  • The race will be broadcast on TSN on Saturday, August 5 at noon as well as on RDS on Sunday, August 20 at 5 pm.

  • Full aluminum radiator, using optimal balanced material thickness to minimize weight.
  • Heavy gauge tubes for increased durability.
  • Reinforced first rows of tubes to increase mechanical resistance without compromising coolant flow.
  • The oil cooler, also made of aluminum, is incorporated in the radiator's tank, eliminating any additional weight, as well as extra hoses and connections, which frees up space under the hood of the car.
  • The design includes anchor points, which allow for installation and removal of the radiator in a faster and more efficient way (special tools are no longer necessary) all while allowing inclination of the radiator in the desired angle for optimized air flow.
  • Robust installation of the radiator on the shroud, using quick connectors as used in planes and high-performance race cars.
  • Integrated lightweight fan brackets allowing a secure and robust installation of a wide range of electric fans with minimal airflow restriction.
  • A standard threaded insert system for quick and reliable fan installation.
  • A universal connection inlet port offering painless customization of the coolant hose circuit, based on each racing team's needs.
  • Radiator vent relocation to avoid damages in the event of a light frontal collision
