THE WEATHERTECH CANADA / BELLEMARE TEAM FINISHES JUST SHY OF THE PODIUM

june 4, 2017

The #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare team has finished in fourth place yesterday on the Delaware Speedway circuit (Ontario). Starting near the end of the pack, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin showed great determination throughout the race to cross the finish line in fourth place after fighting relentlessly. His strong performance allowed him to win the Coca-Cola Move of the race award for the spectacular comeback.

"It was an eventful day. It's a very peculiar track on which we hadn't raced in a long time. The settings were similar to those of last year, and it paid off for us in the middle of the race", shares Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.

After having started the race in sixteenth place due to an issue during the qualifications, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin was able to skillfully make his way to the leaders towards the end of the race.

"The #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare car performs quite well on long distances, and it allowed us to make our way up to fourth place. Only a few more laps would have been necessary to climb the podium. It's a satisfying fourth place all things considered, especially with the healthy competition we faced, and we're happy to rack up the points for the championship. The team is acquiring experience together and it's encouraging and motivating for the future", explains the driver of the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare car.

Louis-Philippe is now in fourth place in the driver standings. Mark your calendars for the next event on June 17 at Autodrome Chaudière (Vallée-Jonction, Québec).
