The Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières: JF Dumoulin's most important race of the season!

NASCAR Pinty's Series, Eight round - Urban Track Layout - Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières - August 10 to 12, 2018

Jean-François Dumoulin and his #04 Spectra Premium | Bernier Crépeau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA | Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi team are preparing for their most important race of the season: the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières. After his great podium finish (3rd) in the Toronto round a few weeks ago, Jean-François Dumoulin knows that his car is ready to match his level of performance and play for the win.

"I appreciate the Trois-Rivières event above all others, as we are at home. The team is in a good place right now, especially after our great run in Toronto (3rd place). We have worked on a new set-up for our #04 Spectra Premium | Bernier Crépeau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA | Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi car, one better adapted to the idiosyncrasies of the unique track layout, and I am certain that our car will be up amongst the leaders for the race. I expect great things this weekend", mentioned a confident Jean-François Dumoulin.

Two Cars Bearing Spectra Premium Colours
Dumoulin Compétition faces some extra work this weekend after adding a third car to their normal-two-car preparation workload. As part of an international exchange program, Whelen Euro Series current championship leader Frédéric Gabillon will drive the #07 Spectra Premium car as teammate to Jean-Francois Dumoulin. Frédéric Gabillon will thus become the first driver from France to take part in a NASCAR Canada event.


49th Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières and
49 years of passion for the Dumoulin family

Both the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières and the Dumoulin family are on their way to a half-century (50 years) of racing (2019). Collectively, the family totals an incredible 64 appearances (Richard (father) : 13 | Jean-François : 23 | Louis-Philippe : 20 et Gérald (uncle) : 8), and are certainly the Grand Prix's most fervent supporters, both locally and internationally.

Moreover, a third Dumoulin will be on the track, uncle Gérald Dumoulin, winner of the PRO-AM class in 2016. He will participate in the F1600 Canada events held on Friday evening, Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon.
