This Saturday, September 12 will mark the end of the NASCAR Pinty's Series shortened 2020 season. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin and his #47 WeatherTech Canada | Groupe Bellemare team will compete in a two-race event on the now-familiar Jukasa Speedway (Hagersville, Ontario) oval with one goal in mind: to once again climb to the top step of the podium.

Louis-Philippe Dumoulin has raced at Jukasa every year since 2017 and knows every bump and idiosyncrasies of the layout. For these two sprint races, the team will race on a track twice as long as those at Sunset Speedway and Flamboro Speedway, where the first four races of the season were held. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin talks to us live from the Dumoulin Competition workshop (video):

"As a team, we certainly understand the current constraint we all have to cope with and are thrilled to be able to race this year. On the other hand, it feels a little odd to already be closing out the 2020 season this weekend, after only two events. It feels like we have only just started! Jukasa is a fast track that we really enjoy. Our team has had good results there over the last three seasons. Our suspension settings for the coming weekend will be very different from those of the shorter tracks we raced on the earlier this season. This also means different strategies for the tires and fuel management, especially as the 125-lap races are run non-stop.

We tested the WeatherTech Canada | Groupe Bellemare car here on the Monday following the Flamboro event and came up with an excellent set-up for the race conditions we expect on next Saturday. The whole team is confident that our car will be perfect, and that we will be in the lead pack and with a quick machine for the last restarts, when things get more physical and we need to protect and indeed gain some positions."
