L.P. DUMOULIN MORE DETERMINED THAN EVER FOR THE HOME EVENT
Team #47 WeatherTech Canada | Groupe Bellemare looks forward to this event every year, as the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières (GP3R) represents both the cornerstone anchoring the beginnings and the development years of the Dumoulin family in motor racing. The GP3R also serves at an important opportunity for the Dumoulin Competition organization to meet partners, parents, friends and fans, setting the stage for another outstanding performance on the part of the drivers and the team. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin approaches the weekend with one goal only: winning. Currently third in the championship, he obviously aims to close the gap on the current points leader.
"We want to win this 50th edition of the race!", exclaims Louis-Philippe Dumoulin. "We came here last year leading the championship and could afford to manage our race on our way to the championship. This year, our situation is different with Andrew leading, so our strategy is to go all out to score as many points as possible. We are going for the victory-period, a very different race strategy. The car was already very good in Toronto and our team has improved it since then. The show will be great this weekend," promised the driver of the #47 WeatherTech Canada | Groupe Bellemare car.
Like the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, the Dumoulin family is celebrating its 50th year in motor racing this year, "50 years at the wheel". The Dumoulin family has the highest number of starts on this track (67: Richard (father): 13 | Jean-François: 24 | Louis-Philippe: 21 and Gérald (uncle): 9) and are among its most fervent ambassadors abroad.

"The Dumoulin Corner" exhibit at the Gilles-Villeneuve Museum
On May 8th, 2018, the brothers Jean-François and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin proudly unveiled "The Dumoulin Corner" (L'Espace Dumoulin), an exhibit at the Gilles-Villeneuve Museum as part of the "50 Years at the Wheel" celebrations.
Those who missed the exhibition last year can see it this year, along with the creations of Luc Pilon, who inspired the "50 Years" logo.

- In 2016, he finishes the NASCAR Pinty's championship exequo with the fourth position (top-5 six times in 12 events);
