Last race of the season for Louis-Philippe Dumoulin

The #47 WeatherTechCanada / Groupe Bellemare team will race at the new Jukasa Motor Speedway, Hagersville (ON) this coming Saturday, September 23rd, in their last race of the 2017 season. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin has not won yet this season, but his three podium finishes and strong showing at all races so far this season has put him only six points away from third overall for the Driver Championship. The whole team has worked especially hard preparing the car for this first visit to the unique track and is looking towards a competitive finish in the race and the season.

The driver of the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare car has always been a fierce competitor who will not be satisfied by anything other than a Top-3 finish in Driver Championship points. "The competition at the sharp end of the NASCAR Pinty's field is as tight as it can be, with excellent drivers that are recognized throughout the NASCAR world. We certainly take nothing for granted and aim for victory at each track. Every member of the team is focused on achieving better results every time out. We have a topline oval car set-up and I am looking forward to a great run in this final race of the season," added Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.

Jukasa Motor Speedway

The teams are visiting this 0.625-mile oval track after a ten-year absence. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin, driver of the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare car, knows the track: "It was called Cayuga in the old days and several NASCAR champions like Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Rusty Wallace raced there. The track has a distinctive high-speed layout that produces spectacular racing, much like Riverside International Speedway in Antigonish (NS), making them two of the best NASCAR oval tracks in Canada. Drivers all love to race at these tracks, and must respect each other on this type layout, especially in the high-speed corners."

To benefit the Quebec Cancer Foundation

The "Le Grand Défoulement Dumoulin Compétition" fund raiser for the Quebec Cancer Foundation will continue over this last race of the season. Every contribution from you is a step towards the podium for the all-important "Race Against Cancer". We are also holding a great BBQ Party on October 9, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm, with the complete Dumoulin Competition team personnel and drivers in attendance. Come meet everyone, buy a souvenir and take pictures of the race cars and rigs.
