JF Dumoulin back with his Quebec fans this weekend
NASCAR Pinty's Series: Third race - Oval Track - Autodrome Chaudière - June 30th, 2018
Jean-Francois Dumoulin's unshakeable tenacity and fortitude when faced with challenges or difficult situations are legendary stuff and were present right from the outset of his career. These qualities helped Jean-Francois Dumoulin build up a solid reputation as an endurance driver as well as a suspension specialist. He has naturally carried these skills over to the #04 Spectra Premium| Bernier Crépeau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA team in the NASCAR Pinty's Series, on both road courses and on short oval tracks. Fortunately for all of us, Jean-Francois Dumoulin will be on track and display these qualities this coming Saturday at the Autodrome Chaudière (Vallée-Jonction, Québec).
"Our team has lived through a difficult period over the first two races, and we are now ready to show our potential" according to the driver of the #04 Spectra Premium | Bernier Crépeau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA car. "We tested at the Autodrome Chaudière last week and put in some competitive times, quick enough to run with the leaders", added Jean-François Dumoulin, the driver and ambassador for the Spectra Premium brand.

The NASCAR Pinty's Series visits several Canadian tracks that are modelled after famous United States short tracks. The Riverside International Speedway (Antigonish, Nouvelle-Écosse, 9th race - 18 August 2018) for example, is modelled after the legendary Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, Tennessee). Similarly, The Autodrome Chaudière, AKA "The Small Quebec Bristol," emulates the Bristol high banking (highest in Quebec) on a shorter (quarter mile) oval layout. As the pits are situated on the outside of the track and difficult to access in racing conditions, the race is run in two segments, with a complete stop of racing activities at the midway point. In addition, the cars are also allowed to pit under race conditions as required at any other time in the race.
