Today's race at the Autodrome Chaudière was another opportunity to admire veteran driver JF Dumoulin skills and determination, the strengths he is famous for in Canadian and American racing. On this, Team #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Bellemare Group / MIA Racing's first season, the newly formed group has come to every event with a competitive, thoroughly prepared car and a driver who is rapidly adapting to oval racing after a 20+ year career in road racing. Starting ninth (9th) on the grid, Jean-Francois Dumoulin worked hard to maintain that position early in the race, then move up to an eighth (8th) place finish.

"The morning testing sessions went well and we were happy with our race set-up. In fact, the car was loose in the early part of the race - race adrenalin I guess. I even had a great fight with Kevin Lacroix. We also changed our set-up when we pitted on lap 155, but not enough to get back to the quick car we had in the cooler morning test sessions. We kept up a good, regular pace, and finished one lap down from the winner'' explained the driver of the #04 from the Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Bellemare Group / MIA team.

Mother Nature delayed the race a total of nine days, and team members and spectators were eager for the race to go on, expecting the usual great show at the Autodrome Chaudière. We know that the whole #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Bellemare Group / MIA team was part of a great event despite the hurry-up mode in which the race was run.

First podium for Dumoulin Competition using the Spectra Premium NSCR100 radiator

According to Jean-Francois Dumoulin "Our NSCR100 radiator has been perfect since we started using it earlier this year. Our coolant temperatures are lower then expected and thus easier to manage. I would like to congratulate my brother Louis-Philippe putting the NSCR100 radiator on the podium for the first time this year. Spectra Premium is the best partners possible, especially when you add in their support of the NASCAR Pinty's Series. We are proud to use a high-performance radiator developed and built in Quebec"

The NASCAR Pinty's race held today at Autodrome Chaudiere, launch the project for the Quebec Cancer Foundation (QCF). The response from the spectators and the teams was immediate, the trunk were covered with names and motivated encouragements as they were last year. Over $ 280.00 were collected, a great start towards equalling last years total of $ 13,611.75. This is obviously a great cause, as each 100 dollars collected pay for QCF one night stay in the foundations hotel. Come visit the team at one-day NASCAR Pinty's race at ICAR, held on July 8, 2017 in Mirabel, Quebec.

  • Full aluminum radiator, using optimal balanced material thickness to minimize weight.
  • Heavy gauge tubes for increased durability.
  • Reinforced first rows of tubes to increase mechanical resistance without compromising coolant flow.
  • The oil cooler, also made of aluminum, is incorporated in the radiator's tank, eliminating any additional weight, as well as extra hoses and connections, which frees up space under the hood of the car.
  • The design includes anchor points, which allow for installation and removal of the radiator in a faster and more efficient way (special tools are no longer necessary) all while allowing inclination of the radiator in the desired angle for optimized air flow.
  • Robust installation of the radiator on the shroud, using quick connectors as used in planes and high-performance race cars.
  • Integrated lightweight fan brackets allowing a secure and robust installation of a wide range of electric fans with minimal airflow restriction.
  • A standard threaded insert system for quick and reliable fan installation.
  • A universal connection inlet port offering painless customization of the coolant hose circuit, based on each racing team's needs.
  • Radiator vent relocation to avoid damages in the event of a light frontal collision.
