Character-builder weekend for Jean-Francois Dumoulin
NASCAR Pinty's Series: Race 12 - Oval track - New Hampshire Motor Speedway - September 22nd, 2018
The #04 Spectra Premium | Bernier Crépeau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA team was thrilled to make NASCAR history by taking part in this first race outside Canada for the NASCAR Pinty's Series, on the famous New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the "Magic Mile" (Loudon, USA). The car experienced gearbox shifter problems on the first lap of the race, forcing driver Jean-François Dumoulin into the pits and costing him several laps. The team technicians were able to apply a temporary fix that allowed Jean-François Dumoulin to finish the race.
The 04 Spectra Premium | Bernier Crépeau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA team members worked out new suspension settings during the two Friday (September 21 September) test sessions. After more hard efforts by the team during the break before qualifying, Jean-François Dumoulin commented that "We all worked hard after two fraught test sessions, where the technical team members worked out the more difficult handling issue and got the car to perform better and better as our tires warmed up more effectively during our qualifying session."
Jean-François Dumoulin and the #04 Spectra Premium | Bernier Crépeau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA team did not get to enjoy the results they all worked for on the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (Loudon, USA). "We faced some hard-to-solve issues all weekend and were counting on a strong race finish despite those problems. We were hit again at the start of the race, as a small bolt came out of the shift linkage during qualifying and we could do nothing about it before the race as the car was impounded, and we could not inspect or touch it with tools. The guys fought off incredible heat from the exhaust to go under the car and fix it, allowing me to get into the race and run to the finish for points." explained the driver of the #04 Spectra Premium | Bernier Crépeau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA car.
Last race of the season: Jukasa Motor Speedway (September 29th, 2018)
After visiting eight ovals and four road courses, here we are at the last race of the season, with all the action and total commitment from everyone on the team that we lived through over the twelve previous races. Drivers enjoy racing at Jukasa Motor Speedway (formerly Cayuga Speedway), where NASCAR stars such as Dale Earnhardt, Bobby Allison and more recently Tony Stewart and Matt Kenseth visited the track regularly to take on the local fast guys. The track closed in 2009, and local businessmen Kenny Hill and Jerry Montour took over the property in 2016 and transformed it into one of the best oval facilities in the country (Source: http://nas.cr/2u4hPWK). The smooth, quick track always produces an exciting race for the spectators as well as for the drivers.

- The race will be broadcast on TSN on Saturday September 30th at 12:30 pm and on RDS on Tuesday October 16th at 10:30 pm.
