A hard fought seventh place for Jean-François Dumoulin

NASCAR Pinty's Series: Third race - Oval Track - Autodrome Chaudière - June 30^th, 2018

Jean-Francois Dumoulin put on another demonstration of his ferocious determination in front of his partners and fans who came to the Autodrome Chaudière (Vallée-Jonction) oval to support him in yesterday's race. The veteran driver of the #04 Spectra Premium | Bernier Crépreau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA Dodge clawed his way through the field and was headed for a strong Top-5 finish when the officials called the race because of rain with 220 laps completed out of the planned 300.

Jean-François Dumoulin smiled as he came out of the car after the practice session. "The #04 Spectra Premium | Bernier Crépreau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA Dodge was easy to drive quickly, and we only had to make small changes to the car to be ready for qualifying," added Jean-François Dumoulin.

In the race, Jean-Francois Dumoulin's car matched the leader's speed after the lap-150 mid-race break. "As soon as we got going again, I could push the #04 Spectra Premium | Bernier Crépreau Chrysler Fiat | Groupe Bellemare | MIA car as hard as I needed to work my way up to a seventh-place finish. We could have made it to the Top-5, but the race was stopped before I could get there. We'll be back up there as the season is only beginning. We are back!" concluded an enthusiastic Jean-Francois Dumoulin.
