TOP-6 FOR JF DUMOULIN AT THE AUTODROME SAINT-EUSTACHE

september 10, 2017

Jean-François Dumoulin used the correct balance of strategy and aggressiveness aboard the #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare/ MIA car to move up from tenth at the start to the sixth place at the finish of the 250-lap race on the St-Eustache oval.

Jean-François Dumoulin has qualified tenth, a short 0,425 sec. from pole position, his best qualifying result of the season on an oval track. Even better, the team knew that the car was going to get quicker as the race went on, as the #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare / MIA car and driver combination has done at virtually every race so far, this season.

According to the Trois-Rivières driver, "The understeer we have experienced in qualifying was still there at the start of the race, albeit in milder form. I was able to adapt my driving to compensate for it and climb past good cars all the way up to sixth place with twenty laps to go. At that point, the #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare / MIA car was the quickest on the track, an important fact for all our partners as well as for the team", mentioned the driver of the #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare/ MIA car.

Spectra Premium was at the Autodrome Chaudière

Over 160 people from Spectra Premium got together at the Autodrome St-Eustache to support their driver, Jean-François Dumoulin, turning the Turn 2 grandstand to the correct shade of Spectra Premium blue with their T-shirts. Everyone there thoroughly enjoyed the show, with more on-track action than they had ever imagined. ''Meeting everyone who came was a unique experience for me. Our guests made the efforts to come and see us in action and it was up to us to make sure they got to see the team in action. We all got to know each other better: everyday people doing extraordinary things, at work or at play. I want to thank everyone who came out to support us today, especially as I could hear the cheers in the cars, THANK YOU for that energy!'' added an enthusiastic Jean-François Dumoulin.

THE GREAT ADVENTURE CONTINUES
September 16th: ''La Descente: Soap Box Derby''

The ''Le Grand Défoulement Dumoulin Compétition'' continued to raise funds for the Quebec Cancer Foundation this past weekend. We added $220,00 to the total amount raised so far, $6,569.45(Including the $3,500 contribution from Spectra Premium and a further $305.45 from the Bistro du Vieux Port). These contributions all add up to a new grand total of $6789,45. We are now down to the last race of the season, your last chance to add your name on one of the Dumoulin brother's cars. Let's make it a date: next September 23rd at the Jukasa Motor Speedway (Hagersville, Ontario) oval, the last race of the NASCAR Pinty's 2017 season.

In addition, the "La Descente: Downhill Soapbox Challenge", also in profit of the Quebec Cancer Foundation, will take place on September 16th. Teams will compete on the Père-Marquette (Trois-Rivières, Quebec) hill. Organized by the Young Chamber of Commerce of the Mauricie, the event will feature Honorary Presidents Jean-François and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin. Come and see us and enjoy the many surprises we have in store for you.

THE MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE NSCR100 RADIATOR

  • Full aluminum radiator, using optimal balanced material thickness to minimize weight.
  • Heavy gauge tubes for increased durability.
  • Reinforced first rows of tubes to increase mechanical resistance without compromising coolant flow.
  • The oil cooler, also made of aluminum, is incorporated in the radiator's tank, eliminating any additional weight, as well as extra hoses and connections, which frees up space under the hood of the car.
  • The design includes anchor points, which allow for installation and removal of the radiator in a faster and more efficient way (special tools are no longer necessary) all while allowing inclination of the radiator in the desired angle for optimized air flow.
  • Robust installation of the radiator on the shroud, using quick connectors as used in planes and high-performance race cars.
  • Integrated lightweight fan brackets allowing a secure and robust installation of a wide range of electric fans with minimal airflow restriction.
  • A standard threaded insert system for quick and reliable fan installation.
  • A universal connection inlet port offering painless customization of the coolant hose circuit, based on each racing team's needs.
  • Radiator vent relocation to avoid damages in the event of a light frontal collision
